During our regular dance season, Inspiration Academy (iDance) shares the incredible knowledge, love, and passion of dance, music, theater, acro, and art to students, two years through adults. We believe that the young minds are the most influential and that true love for the arts is born early in life. A positive environment is also extremely important and we stress "fun while learning" in all of our classes. You must enjoy what you're doing to properly learn what you're doing. We are proud to invite you to our performing arts facility. Housing nearly five thousand square feet of creative space, including three spacious dance studios, Inspiration Academy, from ceiling to floor, was designed and built with perfection and beauty. All studios are complimented by great sound systems as well as Harlequin Cascade Floating Dance Floors, the same floors found in world-renowned facilities such as the American Ballet Theater, The Julliard School, Carnegie Hall, Joffrey Ballet, and The Apollo Theater, to name a select few. Offering dance, theater, and acrobatics, we have everything under one roof, but even more important than that, is we have a staff with the knowledge and experience, the love and passion for the performing arts, and the desire to share all of that with their students! Structured Class Activities in Camp Within our camp we take great pride in offering the parents a peaceful state of mind knowing that their children are in an environment where every aspect of safety and caring matter. Everything we do is non-gender specific, so both boys and girls will be comfortable participating. Everything is age appropriate based on the groups we have at any given time, and also the activities we are running. Music is always monitored to assure that it’s appropriate. Every minute of every day is monitored by the fully trained staff members, so that safety is a priority. Some of Our Events Include: Theater ~ Games, Role-Playing, Storytelling, Improvisation, Character Skits, etc. Most of the scripts we use are original, written just for our camp. Campers have opportunities to create their own skits, always a huge hit! Dance ~ Technique, Jazz, Hip-hop, Character, Hawaiian/ Polynesian, Lyrical, Modern, Creative Movement, and More!!! Creatively fun for everyone. Art ~ Multi-Medium Projects, Techniques, Arts & Crafts, Scenery/Set Design, Costuming, and so much more. Acro. ~ Basic acrobatic skills such as bridges, rolls, cartwheels, standing back-bends, limbers, etc. Games ~ We have one-of-a-kind games that we have created. You won’t find these anywhere else in the world! We have lots of team building activities, obstacle courses, individual confidence building, and more. We are a very active camp! Remember, experience is NOT required nor expected at our camp. Everyone will feel comfortable and fit in!!!
